Tigo Energy, Inc. has commenced shipments of its GO Battery to the European residential market, fulfilling preorder commitments established when the product was introduced in April 2026. The GO Battery serves as a component of the GO Optimized Energy Storage System (ESS), designed to provide flexible energy storage solutions for residential applications. This expansion marks a significant step in the company's strategy to deliver integrated solar and energy solutions across Europe.

Technical Specifications and Compliance

The GO Battery features a modular architecture built on 3.68kWh units, allowing configurations ranging from 7.3kWh to 47.9kWh. This design enables installers to size systems for various residential needs, from compact apartments to larger homes with higher energy demands. Key technical attributes include:

• Compatibility: Backward-compatible with all Tigo inverters sold in Europe, supporting both single-phase and three-phase configurations.
• Operating Range: Designed to function in temperatures as low as -30°C.
• Chemistry and Safety: Utilizes Lithium Iron Phosphate (LFP) chemistry and features an IP65 enclosure rating for indoor and outdoor installation.
• Standards: Complies with European grid standards, including VDE-AR-E2510 and CEI 0-21, CE certification, and the IEC 62619 safety standard.

Ecosystem Integration and Support

The GO Optimized ESS integrates the GO Battery with the Tigo EI Inverter, TS4 Flex MLPE optimization products, GO EV Charger, GO Junction for heat pump integration, and the Tigo Energy Intelligence (EI) platform. This connected ecosystem covers solar production, storage, e-mobility, and home heating. Installers can manage deployed systems through unit-level visibility and remote diagnostics available via the Tigo EI platform, which helps reduce service calls.

To support deployment, Tigo offers the Tigo Green Glove program, providing professional system design reviews and technical standby support. Installer onboarding is further reinforced through Tigo Academy training. The Tigo Installer Loyalty Program recognizes installers across Certified, Advanced, and Elite tiers based on monitored system volume and training completion, offering marketing support and early product access.

Market Showcase and Availability

Tigo will demonstrate the GO Optimized ESS at Intersolar Europe 2026, scheduled for June 23–25 at Messe München in Munich, Germany, at booth B3.140. Weiss-Blau GmbH, a member of the Tigo Installer Loyalty Program, will join Tigo as one of the first installation companies to deploy the system in the European residential market. European installers can place GO Battery orders through authorized Tigo distributors.
