Tata Steel completed the divestment of its 100% stake in Jamshedpur Football and Sporting Private Limited (JFSPL) on August 31, 2026. The wholly owned subsidiary was sold to Churchill Brothers Sports Club Private Limited.

The transaction follows the execution of a Share Purchase Agreement announced on August 14, 2026. The deal required satisfaction of conditions precedent, including approvals from the All-India Football Federation.

Continued Sports Investment
