Stitch Fix has expanded its Stitch Fix Vision AI platform to enable clients to generate personalized images of themselves in recommended outfits. The new capability provides users with greater control over how they discover and visualize new styles by integrating AI-driven visualization directly into the shopping experience.
Platform Expansion and Features
Initially launched in October 2025, Stitch Fix Vision provides personalized images of clients in curated outfits tailored to their style profile and current trends. The platform proactively delivers a weekly drop of new looks and outfit ideas. With the latest update, clients can now create images of themselves in recommended looks through the "See it on me" feature.
The functionality is available throughout the Stitch Fix Freestyle experience wherever outfit recommendations appear. To utilize the feature, clients navigate to their chosen outfit and select "See it on me." All generated images, including new results, are saved in a personalized Vision gallery within the app.
Strategic Vision and Access
"Personalization has always been at the heart of the Stitch Fix experience, and we're building toward a future where clients can see themselves reflected throughout every step of their shopping journey," said Matt Baer, CEO of Stitch Fix. He noted that the expansion combines the company's understanding of client preferences with AI to offer inspiration, making it easier to discover new styles and find new ways to wear existing pieces.
Clients can access the feature by uploading a selfie through the Stitch Fix app. Following the upload, the system generates the first set of personalized images for the user's library.
