Sompo has appointed Henry MacHale as Chief Underwriting Officer and Head of Strategy for its International Markets insurance business to strengthen underwriting performance and enhance governance across 22 countries. Mr MacHale, previously Group Chief Strategy Officer at Aspen, will be based in London and report to Alessa Quane, Chief Executive Officer, International Markets.
