The Nathpa Jhakri Hydro Power Station crossed the historic milestone of 150 billion units of cumulative power generation in March 2026. Meanwhile, the Rampur Hydro Power Station achieved its first-ever crossing of the 2,100 million units mark in its eleven-year operational history.

The Naitwar Mori Hydro Power Station, in its second year of operation and maintenance, generated 310.37 million units, which is 17% higher than its Design Energy of 265.50 million units.

Solar Power Achievement

The 1,000 MW Bikaner Solar Power Station registered a significant milestone by generating one billion units of energy on March 19, 2026, demonstrating SJVN's commitment to renewable energy expansion.

Strategic Impact

Director (Personnel) Ajay Kumar Sharma attributed the success to employee dedication and emphasized that these projects have significantly contributed to socio-economic development in project vicinity regions. SJVN 's 412 MW Rampur Hydro Power Station achieved a historic milestone on March 26, 2026, by surpassing its highest-ever power generation record of 2,098.03 million units. This achievement exceeded the previous benchmark established during FY 2019-20, marking a significant operational accomplishment for the Himachal Pradesh-based facility.

The Rampur Hydro Power Station's latest performance represents a substantial milestone in the facility's operational history. Chairman & Managing Director Bhupender Gupta announced this achievement, highlighting the plant's enhanced operational capabilities and efficient resource utilization.

Since its commissioning, Rampur HPS has consistently demonstrated exceptional performance, setting multiple benchmarks in power generation. The Power Station had already achieved its Design Energy target of 1,878 million units for FY 2025-26 on December 8, 2025, marking the fastest achievement since commissioning.
