Pfizer Limited has announced the resignation of Sharad Goswami from his role as Senior Director – Policy & Public Affairs. Mr. Goswami will cease to be a Senior Management Personnel of the company effective close of business on September 25, 2026.

The departure follows a formal intimation filed with the Bombay Stock Exchange and the National Stock Exchange of India Ltd. The move is made pursuant to Regulation 30 of the SEBI (Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2015.

Resignation Details

Mr. Goswami tendered his resignation on September 18, 2026, citing a desire to pursue opportunities outside Pfizer Limited. The company confirmed that he will exit the senior management cadre upon the effective date.

The National Comprehensive Cancer Network (NCCN) announced funding awards for quality improvement research projects focused on metastatic prostate cancer (mPCA). The NCCN Oncology Research Program (ORP) selected four initiatives to advance healthcare quality and provider performance, with funding and oversight provided by Pfizer Global Medical Grants.

The awards address critical gaps in mPCA care, including healthcare access disparities, variability in care delivery, limited support systems, and inequitable access to clinical trials. Many patients do not receive the full range of life-prolonging therapies for which they are eligible due to geographic, insurance, and infrastructure barriers.

Selected Projects

The funded projects aim to standardize testing, enhance clinical decision-making, and increase clinical trial participation. Proposals were reviewed by a Scientific Review Committee comprising peer experts from NCCN Member Institutions. All projects are set to be completed within two years.
