NMDC Limited announced that Ashish Chatterjee has ceased to be a Government Nominee Director on its Board, effective the forenoon of August 24, 2026. The change follows an office memorandum from the Ministry of Steel, Government of India.

The Ministry of Steel communicated the cessation via Office Memorandum No. S-14011/1/2022-BLA dated August 27, 2026. Chatterjee, who serves as Additional Secretary and Financial Advisor to the Ministry of Steel, was originally appointed on June 11, 2025, under MoS Order No. S-14011/1/2022-BLA.

NMDC Limited has scheduled its 68th Annual General Meeting (AGM) for Monday, September 28, 2026. The meeting will be held via video conferencing or other audio-visual means (VC/OAVM).

Meeting Details
