Maruti Suzuki India Limited (MSIL) launched the New Brezza Turbo Boosterjet on July 24, 2026, introducing a performance-oriented variant to its best-selling compact SUV lineup. The new model is priced from ₹7.39 lakh (ex-showroom), aiming to capture the growing segment of young, aspirational customers seeking dynamic driving experiences. This launch reinforces MSIL’s strategy to diversify powertrain options within the Brezza range, complementing existing petrol and CNG variants with a turbocharged offering.

The New Brezza Turbo Boosterjet is powered by a 997cc turbocharged engine integrated with Progressive Smart Hybrid Technology. It delivers a maximum power output of 81 kW (110.2 PS) at 5500 rpm and peak torque of 170 Nm between 2000–3500 rpm. The engine is mated exclusively to an all-new 6-speed manual transmission designed to enhance driver engagement. According to MSIL, this configuration achieves a certified fuel efficiency of 20.47 km/l under Rule 115 of the Central Motor Vehicles Rules, 1989.

Alongside the turbo variant, MSIL refreshed the standard K15C engine lineup. The proven 1,462cc Dual Jet Dual VVT engine now offers a new 6-speed manual transmission option, in addition to the existing 6-speed automatic with paddle shifters. This variant produces 75.8 kW (103.05 PS) at 6000 rpm and 139 Nm of torque at 4400 rpm, delivering a fuel efficiency of 21.09 km/l. The company also updated the S-CNG variant, introducing a new underbody fuel tank configuration that preserves boot space. The S-CNG model features Idle Start-Stop technology and achieves 26.9 km/kg in CNG mode.
