GMR Estate Management Private Limited acquired 7,45,56,604 equity shares from GMR Enterprises Private Limited on June 16, 2026. The inter-se transfer increased the acquirer's stake in GMR Power & Urban Infra to 24.91% of the total voting capital. The transaction was executed off-market and disclosed to BSE Limited and National Stock Exchange of India Limited under Regulation 29(2) of the SEBI (Substantial Acquisition of Shares and Takeovers) Regulations, 2011.
Prior to the acquisition, GMR Estate Management held 12,00,00,000 shares, representing 15.36% of the total voting capital. Following the transfer, the holding increased to 19,45,56,604 shares. The total equity share capital of GMR Power and Urban Infra Limited remains INR 390,50,87,645, divided into 78,10,17,529 equity shares with a face value of INR 5 each.
