Fractal Analytics has launched a dedicated India Business Unit to address growing demand from large Indian enterprises for scalable artificial intelligence solutions. The move aims to accelerate business transformation through its agentic AI platform, Cogentiq.
The new unit will be part of the company’s Asia-Pacific practice. Fractal has appointed Rishi Seth as Head of the India Business Unit. He reports to Sandeep Dutta, Chief Practice Officer and Head of APAC.
Strategic Focus
Fractal stated that Indian enterprises are moving beyond pilot projects to scale AI-driven transformation across their operations. The company plans to leverage its portfolio of products and platforms to help organizations unlock business value from AI at scale.
Srikanth Velamakanni, Co-founder, Group CEO and Vice Chairman, said the growing demand and evolving AI ecosystem in India make this the right time for a dedicated business unit.

Fractal highlighted its nearly two decades of AI innovation in India. It has partnered with multiple Global Capability Centers (GCCs) and seen strong traction for its Cogentiq suite.

- Selected under the IndiaAI Mission to develop a Large Reasoning Model (LRM) for India.
- Signed a partnership with the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) to deploy AI-powered citizen health services using Vaidya.ai, India’s first healthcare multimodal reasoning platform.

Fractal invests more than 6% of its revenue in AI research and development. This allocation supports foundational AI research, product development, and IP creation, including proprietary models like PiEvolve and the spin-out of Qure.ai.
