CSB Bank reported a 26.5% rise in net profit to ₹1,500.04 crore for the quarter ended June 30, 2026, compared to ₹1,186 crore in the same period last year. The increase was driven by a 17.9% growth in total income, which reached ₹15,160.7 crore, supported by higher interest earnings. The bank's asset quality improved, with gross non-performing assets (NPAs) falling to 1.75% from 1.84% a year ago.
The Board of Directors approved the unaudited financial results on July 22, 2026, following a review by the Audit Committee. The results were reviewed by joint statutory auditors Walker Chandiok & Co LLP and Sundaram & Srinivasan, who issued an unmodified review report. The bank operates primarily in the domestic segment, with reportable business segments including Treasury, Corporate/Wholesale Banking, Retail Banking, and Other Banking Operations.
Interest earned during the quarter stood at ₹12,873.2 crore, up from ₹10,409.4 crore in the corresponding period of the previous year. Other income declined to ₹2,287.5 crore from ₹2,447.1 crore.
