Alkane Resources finds new mineralised zones at Boda-Kaiser

Alkane Resources Limited has announced significant exploration results from its Northern Molong Porphyry Project (NMPP) in New South Wales, revealing new mineralised zones and regional targets. The company reported that diamond core drilling at the Boda-Kaiser corridor intersected a magmatic root zone, with hole KAI226 returning 42.1m grading 0.16g/t Au and 0.14% Cu from 914m, including a higher-grade sub-interval of 4.8m grading 0.59g/t Au and 0.29% Cu. These results indicate the potential for further growth in the scale of the system.
Near Boda-Kaiser Exploration
The exploration program focused on testing the area between the Kaiser and Boda deposits, as well as targets northeast of Boda-Kaiser. Drilling at KAI226 intersected a mineralised monzodiorite cemented breccia, considered the likely magmatic root to overlying hydrothermal breccia mineralisation. Significant intercepts from this hole included 23.5m grading 0.17g/t Au and 0.14% Cu from 880.5m, including 3.2m grading 0.31g/t Au and 0.23% Cu. Further drilling is planned to test along strike and up-dip of this breccia.
At the northeast flank of the system, hole BOD168 intersected gold-enriched phyllic alteration, returning 9m grading 0.30g/t Au and 0.01% Cu from 264m. This alteration appears similar to that observed on the northeastern flank of the Boda deposit, and further drilling is planned to test for a deeper potassic core.
Regional Exploration and New Targets
District exploration included drilling at the Haddington and Glen Hollow prospects within the Comobella Intrusive Complex. At Haddington, hole HAD001 intersected monzonite and monzodiorite intrusives with gold-copper mineralisation, including 3m grading 1.74g/t Au and 0.07% Cu from 354m. However, drilling at Haddington and Glen Hollow highlighted that zones are either too small or of insufficient grade for current economic significance, with no immediate follow-up planned.
A Mobile Magnetotellurics (MMT) survey flown over the project area north of Boda-Kaiser defined six high-priority targets for porphyry style systems. These targets are located at Driell Creek, Murga, Gollan North, and two new prospects named One Tree and Old Station. Ground validation of these targets has commenced.

Planned Exploration
Alkane Managing Director & CEO Nic Earner stated that the results continue to add to the understanding of the Boda-Kaiser project, showing the scale potential of the system. Baseline environmental studies are underway for the Boda-Kaiser Project in parallel with scoping studies. Planned exploration over the next 12 months includes further drill testing of the Boda-Kaiser corridor area, targeting along strike and up-dip of KAI226. Regionally, work will recommence at Driell Creek, as well as testing the new targets generated by the MMT survey once validated.
