Super Micro Computer Inc shares fell on Tuesday, extending recent losses amid a global semiconductor sell-off and escalating regulatory concerns. The stock declined 2.63% to $26.47, contributing to a significant drop over the past 12 months. The decline follows news that Taiwanese prosecutors detained two employees in an investigation into the alleged smuggling of Nvidia Corp AI chips to China, adding pressure on the server manufacturer's supply chain and compliance reputation. The investigation centers on allegations of falsifying documents and breach of trust.
