The expanded collaboration brings CrowdStrike's Falcon® Guardian platform into HCLTech's AI security services portfolio. The integration is aimed at bolstering the company's cybersecurity offerings for enterprise clients.

The move reflects a growing emphasis on AI-powered cybersecurity solutions within HCLTech's services. By incorporating CrowdStrike Falcon® Guardian, HCLTech aims to enhance the security capabilities delivered to its clients through this deepened alliance.

Expanded scope and technical integration

Announced on September 14, 2026, the partnership integrates Falcon Guardian with HCLTech's AI Security and Resilience services. The collaboration combines Falcon Guardian's AI detection and response capabilities with HCLTech's TRIBe framework for AI trust, risk governance, and resilience.

The alliance also leverages VERITY Frontier AI Resilience, a cybersecurity operating model that continuously identifies, validates, and mitigates exploitable cyber exposure across hybrid environments. This builds on the Continuous Threat Exposure Management services launched in March 2026.

Daniel Bernard, Chief Business Officer at CrowdStrike, stated that AI is becoming a new enterprise attack surface requiring visibility and protection everywhere AI operates. He noted that CrowdStrike pioneered AI Detection and Response to secure the full AI attack surface.

Amit Jain, EVP and Global Head of Cybersecurity at HCLTech, emphasized that next-generation enterprise security requires addressing both sides of the AI risk equation. He highlighted the goal of helping organizations scale AI securely while driving greater operational resilience.

HCL Technologies has launched an Advanced Semiconductor Lab in Bengaluru with an investment of ₹185 crore, strengthening its post-silicon engineering capabilities.

New facility details

The state-of-the-art lab, inaugurated on September 8, 2026, spans 40,000 sq ft and includes 25,000 sq ft of Class 10K and 1K cleanrooms. It is designed to deliver end-to-end post-silicon engineering, advanced testing, and failure analysis services.

Strategic capabilities and equipment

The facility is equipped with tools from Teradyne, Advantest, Keysight, Tektronix, and Thermo Fisher Scientific Inc. It supports research and development, pre-production, and production qualification. The lab aims to achieve global certifications including ISO 17025, ISO 9001, AS 9100 (Mil-Aero), and ISO 13485 (Medical).

Aligned with the Spec2Parts business model, the lab provides a unified platform for electrical validation, automated testing, qualification, and failure analysis. This setup streamlines the journey from design specifications to finished semiconductor parts.

Hari Sadarahalli, Corporate Vice President and Global Head of Engineering and R&D Services at HCL Technologies, stated that the facility reinforces India's leadership in semiconductor innovation and reflects a commitment to high-end engineering capabilities.
