JPMorgan stock eyes longest weekly win streak since early 2024

JPMorgan Chase & Co. is on pace for its eighth straight weekly advance, marking the longest unbroken run since early 2024, as the stock sits about 22% above its 52-week low. The rally accelerated after second-quarter results on July 14, where adjusted earnings of $6.14 per share beat estimates near $5.85, and revenue of $58 billion marked one of the bank’s largest beats in years. Following the announcement, JPMorgan shares rose 0.5% to trade at $344.59 on Wednesday.
The bank raised its 2026 net interest income outlook to about $105.5 billion from $103 billion previously, or about $96.5 billion excluding Markets, up from its prior forecast of $95 billion. Additionally, JPMorgan lowered its projected 2026 card services net charge-off rate to about 3.2% from 3.4%. Trading revenue jumped 35%, and investment banking fees hit their highest since 2021.
Chief Executive Jamie Dimon still urged caution regarding the performance. "It's getting close to as good as it gets," he said.

Keefe, Bruyette & Woods analyst David Konrad maintained JPMorgan with an Outperform rating and raised the price target from $370 to $384. Barclays analyst Jason Goldberg maintained the stock with an Overweight rating and raised the price target from $391 to $420.
Wells Fargo analyst Mike Mayo maintained JPMorgan with an Overweight rating and boosted the price target from $360 to $375. Truist Securities analyst John McDonald maintained the stock with a Hold and raised the price target from $344 to $352. Baird analyst David George maintained JPMorgan Chase with a Neutral rating and raised the price target from $295 to $305.
