TOURISE announced its second global summit will convene in Riyadh from March 23-25, 2027. The event aims to build strategic alliances across the tourism sector.

Under the patronage of Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman and chaired by Tourism Minister Ahmed Al-Khateeb, the summit operates under the theme "Alliances That Move the World." It seeks to translate shared ambition into actionable partnerships between public and private entities.

Strategic Partnerships

The platform builds on the inaugural November 2025 summit, which announced USD 113 billion in portfolio investments. These investments span hotels, integrated destinations, wellness, retail, talent development and AI-powered platforms. The 2027 edition will focus on sustaining this momentum through new collaborations.

Confirmed speakers include leaders from Booking Holdings, Marriott, Hilton, Intrepid Travel, S4 Capital, Wego, Switzerland Tourism and Technogym. The roster highlights a convergence of hospitality giants, technology providers and investment firms.

Industry Backing

A growing list of partners supports the initiative, including stc, Dar Al Arkan, The Avenues, Qiddiya City, Aseer Development Authority, Saudia, Jeddah Central, Taiba, Tourism Development Fund, Red Sea Global, Almosafer and Snapchat. This mix reflects deep integration across infrastructure, travel services and digital media.

What the Numbers Show

The USD 113 billion in prior commitments demonstrates significant capital readiness within the Saudi tourism ecosystem. By linking these funds to a global alliance framework, TOURISE positions itself as a central node for cross-border investment flows rather than just a domestic development tool.

Gloria Guevara, President and CEO of the World Travel and Tourism Council, noted that the next chapter of tourism requires collaboration at an unprecedented scale. She emphasized that TOURISE creates space for practical solutions beyond discussion.

Stakeholders interested in participating can request an invitation via the official platform. The Board of Trustees, chaired by Minister Al-Khateeb, includes global experts from online travel agencies, tour operators, hospitality and entertainment sectors.

How will the 2027 summit's focus on 'actionable partnerships' differ structurally from the investment announcements made at the 2025 event?

What specific regulatory or policy changes might Saudi Arabia implement to facilitate the cross-border capital flows highlighted by the USD 113 billion commitment?

How is the integration of AI-powered platforms and digital media partners like Snapchat expected to reshape the Saudi tourism consumer experience by 2027?
