Schaeffler India has issued a postal ballot notice seeking shareholder approval for the appointment of two new directors. The move adds a global CFO and an electric mobility expert to its board.

The company appointed Mr. Christophe Hannequin as a Non-Executive Non-Independent Director and Mr. Chetan Kumar Maini as an Independent Director. Both appointments are effective from July 1, 2026. Voting Details

The remote e-voting period commences on Thursday, August 27, 2026, at 9:00 am and concludes on Friday, September 25, 2026, at 5:00 pm. The cut-off date for eligibility is Friday, August 21, 2026. Only members registered in the Register of Members or list of Beneficial Owners as on this date are eligible to vote.

Mr. Suresh Kumar Kabra of Samdani Kabra and Associates has been appointed as the scrutinizer for the postal ballot. The results will be declared on or before Monday, September 28, 2026. The appointment of Mr. Hannequin requires an Ordinary Resolution, while Mr. Maini’s appointment requires a Special Resolution.
