NVE Corporation announced that President and CEO Daniel A. Baker, Ph.D. will retire effective August 6, 2026, coinciding with the company’s Annual Shareholders’ Meeting. The Board of Directors has appointed Peter G. Eames, Ph.D., currently vice president of advanced technology, to succeed him as president and CEO. Subject to shareholder approval, Dr. Baker will remain on the Board as Chairman, and the Board will expand from five to seven directors with the addition of Dr. Eames and new nominee Carolyn W. Valentine.

Leadership Transition

The Board unanimously selected Dr. Eames following a succession planning process. Dr. Baker joined NVE in 2001 and led the company's growth from contract research operations to a provider of spintronics-based products. Dr. Eames has been with NVE since 2003 and has served as Vice President of Advanced Technology since 2016, leading research and development and managing production expansions.

Board Expansion and Nominees

Current Chairman Terrence W. Glarner will remain on the Board following the transition. Carolyn W. Valentine, nominated as a new director, has served as president of Grason-Stadler, a Demant company, since October 2023.
