Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation Limited ( irctc ) submitted its Business Responsibility and Sustainability Report (BRSR) for the financial year ended March 31, 2026, to the Bombay Stock Exchange and the National Stock Exchange of India Limited on September 7, 2026.

Emissions and Waste
Total Scope 1 greenhouse gas emissions fell to 98.64 metric tonnes of CO2 equivalent from 233.71 metric tonnes in FY25. Scope 2 emissions rose to 20,725.20 metric tonnes from 18,630.80 metric tonnes. The combined Scope 1 and Scope 2 emission intensity improved to 3.99 metric tonnes per ₹ Crore from 4.04 metric tonnes per ₹ Crore.
Total waste generated dropped significantly to 563.79 metric tonnes from 2,712.38 metric tonnes in the prior year. Plastic waste decreased to 340.34 metric tonnes from 2,550.61 metric tonnes. The company recycled 32.50 metric tonnes and utilized other recovery operations for 531.29 metric tonnes of waste.

The entity reported spending 0.24% of total revenue on employee well-being measures, up from 0.19% in FY25. Human rights training coverage expanded to 53.97% of total employees, rising from 40.73% previously.
