Hero MotoCorp unveiled India's first Flex Fuel motorcycles in the 100cc segment — the Splendor+ and HF Deluxe — marking a significant milestone in the country's transition toward cleaner mobility. Both models are fully compatible with ethanol-blended fuels ranging from E20 to E85, aligning with the national objective of reducing economic carbon intensity by 45% by 2030. The launch was attended by Shri Nitin Gadkari, Hon'ble Minister of Road Transport & Highways, and Shri Hardeep Singh Puri, Hon'ble Minister of Petroleum and Natural Gas, in New Delhi.

Domestic Development and Manufacturing

Harshavardhan Chitale, Chief Executive Officer, Hero MotoCorp, stated that the motorcycles were developed at the company's Centre for Innovation & Technology (CIT) in Jaipur. He emphasized that the products contain minimal-to-no import content, reflecting India's manufacturing capabilities and reinforcing the vision of Atmanirbhar Bharat. The company positions these models as a practical mobility solution that lowers the environmental footprint without compromising performance.

Hero MotoCorp sustained strong growth momentum in May 2026 with total dispatches of 570,068 units, compared to 507,701 units in the same period last year. Domestic retail momentum remained robust with 496,957 VAHAN registrations, excluding data from Telangana. The growth was led by strong performance in the Deluxe 125cc, premium motorcycle, and scooter segments, each registering double-digit growth. The company also launched the all-new Super Splendor XTEC 2.0 to strengthen its position in the 125cc segment.

VIDA, the company's emerging mobility business, delivered 19,052 VAHAN registrations in May 2026, reflecting 166% retail growth compared to the same period last year. The company expanded its electric mobility product portfolio with the commencement of DIRT.E K3 retail operations in select markets.
