Agribio Spirits reported a significant expansion in its financial performance for FY26, with standalone revenue from operations more than doubling year-on-year. The company posted a consolidated net profit of ₹290.74 lakh, marking a 9.74% increase over the previous fiscal year.

The board recommended a final dividend of ₹0.30 per equity share, subject to shareholder approval at the upcoming annual general meeting scheduled for September 30, 2026.

Financial Performance

Revenue from operations on a standalone basis grew by 129.38% to ₹4,604.45 lakh in FY26, compared to ₹2,007.50 lakh in FY25. Total income followed suit, rising to ₹4,743.30 lakh from ₹2,082.17 lakh in the prior year.

Standalone profit before tax (PBT) increased by 10.33% to ₹171.30 lakh. Consequently, standalone net profit rose by 8.51% to ₹124.48 lakh, up from ₹114.44 lakh in FY25.

On a consolidated basis, total income reached ₹4,749.52 lakh. While consolidated PBT saw a marginal decline to ₹294.35 lakh from ₹305.75 lakh, the bottom line improved due to a higher share of profit from associates.

What the Numbers Show

The divergence between consolidated PBT and net profit highlights the group's reliance on its associate companies for profitability. Consolidated PBT fell by ₹11.40 lakh year-on-year, yet consolidated net profit grew by ₹25.80 lakh. This improvement was driven primarily by the share of profit from associates, which rose to ₹172.88 lakh from ₹150.50 lakh in FY25. Additionally, other income contributed significantly, with interest income on loans and advances increasing to ₹131.92 lakh from ₹74.01 lakh.

Balance Sheet and Capital Structure

The company's borrowing levels increased substantially during the period. Total borrowings stood at ₹1,508.29 lakh as of March 31, 2026, a sharp rise from ₹186.59 lakh in the previous year. Non-current borrowings accounted for ₹941.81 lakh, while current borrowings were ₹356.21 lakh.

Despite the increase in debt, the current ratio remained healthy at 4.32, down from 15.83 in FY25. The debt-equity ratio rose to 0.17 from 0.03, reflecting the leverage taken to fund operations or investments.

Corporate Developments

Agribio Spirits continues to pursue a scheme of amalgamation with its associate company, Agribiotech Industries Limited. The Bombay Stock Exchange issued an observation letter regarding the merger in February 2026, and the scheme is currently pending adjudication before the National Company Law Tribunal (NCLT).

The company also completed the acquisition of 100% equity share capital of Solkit Distillery and Brewery Private Limited during the year, making it a wholly owned subsidiary. Solkit reported a turnover of nil and a loss before taxation of ₹49.85 lakh for the period.

Dividend and Shareholding

The board proposed a final dividend of 3% (₹0.30 per share) on the face value of ₹10 per equity share. The total payout amounts to ₹32.65 lakh. The record date for dividend entitlement will be determined following the AGM approval.

Promoter holding remained stable at 43.27% as of March 31, 2026. The paid-up share capital stands at ₹1,088.42 lakh, comprising 1,08,84,237 equity shares.
