Hindware Expands Production Capacity with New Rs 170 Crore Plant in Roorkee
Hindware Home Innovation has inaugurated a new production facility in Roorkee, Uttarakhand, with an investment of Rs 170 crore. The plant will produce CPVC, UPVC, SWR and PVC pipes, fittings, and water storage tanks under the Truflo brand. With an initial capacity of 12,500 tonnes per annum, this third facility increases Hindware's total annual production capacity to 80,500 tonnes. The strategically located plant aims to serve North and West India markets and is expected to create about 200 jobs.

The Consumer Products Business will be demerged into HHIL Limited, while the remaining assets, mainly investments in Building Products, will be amalgamated into Hindware Limited. Shareholders will receive one share each in both new entities for every share held in the original company.
