This move aligns with global efforts to reduce carbon emissions in aviation and could strengthen Praj's position in the sustainable energy sector while contributing to India's environmental goals in air travel.
Praj Industries experienced a decline in financial performance for Q4 and FY 2025. Q4 consolidated net profit decreased to 398.17 million rupees from 919.36 million rupees year-over-year. FY 2025 revenue fell 6.87% to 32,280.42 million rupees, with profit after tax down 22.74% to 2,189.33 million rupees. Despite this, a final dividend of 6 rupees per share was proposed. The company announced a strategic partnership with thyssenkrupp Uhde's Uhde Inventa-Fischer to produce Polylactic Acid (PLA), a biodegradable plastic alternative. Praj GenX Limited started operations in Mangalore, and a new subsidiary was incorporated in Tanzania. A fire incident at the R&D facility caused temporary disruption but was fully insured.

Despite the quarterly decline, Praj's full-year revenue reached ₹3,228.00 crore with a net profit of ₹218.90 crore. The Board proposed a final dividend of ₹6 per share. The company also reported a Q4 order intake of ₹1,032.00 crore and an order backlog of ₹4,293.00 crore.
