Bervin Investment Reports Significant Loss of Rs 1,729.24 Lacs in Q1
Bervin Investment & Leasing Limited reported a net loss of Rs 1,729.24 lacs for Q1 ended June 30, compared to a profit of Rs 173.57 lacs in the same quarter last year. Total income decreased by 91.8% to Rs 18.72 lacs from Rs 229.52 lacs. The loss was primarily attributed to Rs 1,726.04 lacs in losses on investments and futures & options trading. Earnings per share fell to negative Rs 29.32 from positive Rs 2.94 in the previous year's quarter. The financial results were approved by the Board of Directors on August 12 after review by the Audit Committee and independent auditors.

Bervin Investment and Leasing Appoints Ashok Ogra as Independent Director with Overwhelming Shareholder Approval
Bervin Investment & Leasing Limited has appointed Mr. Ashok Ogra as an Independent Director for a five-year term from May 20, 2025, to May 19, 2030. The appointment was approved through a postal ballot with 99.99% of votes in favor. The e-voting process, facilitated by NSDL, ran from July 8 to August 6, 2025. Ms. Manisha Gupta acted as the Scrutinizer, confirming a fair voting process. The appointment adheres to relevant sections of the Companies Act, 2013 and SEBI regulations.
