Kia India has launched the new HTE (EX) trim for the Carens Clavis lineup, strategically positioned to make premium features more accessible to customers. The new variant is priced at ₹12.55 lakh (ex-showroom) and represents a significant addition to the company's multi-purpose vehicle portfolio.
Pricing and Engine Options
The HTE (EX) trim is available across all three engine configurations, offering customers flexibility in powertrain selection:

The HTE (EX) trim introduces several premium features at the most affordable price point in the Carens Clavis range. Notable additions include a single-pane sunroof and fully automatic temperature control, marking the first time the sunroof is available with the 1.5-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine.
The variant comes equipped with an 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system featuring wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay connectivity, complemented by a 6-speaker sound system. Additional convenience features include LED daytime running lamps, LED cabin lamps, a driver-side auto up/down power window, and a semi-digital instrument cluster.
Safety and Performance
Safety remains a priority with the HTE (EX) trim featuring six airbags, rear parking sensors, tyre pressure monitoring system (TPMS), ISOFIX child seat mounts, and disc brakes on all four wheels. The variant also includes a rear parking camera, powered ORVMs with turn indicators, and rear window sunshades.

The Syros HTK (EX) features LED lighting elements including DRLs, headlamps, and taillamps, along with 16-inch alloy wheels. Premium amenities include an electric sunroof, 12.3-inch touchscreen infotainment system, electrically adjustable and foldable ORVMs, and comprehensive safety equipment including six airbags, ABS with EBD, Electronic Stability Control, and Hill Start Assist.
Connected Car Milestone
Kia India achieved a significant milestone by crossing 500,000 connected cars on Indian roads. Connected variants now represent nearly 40% of the company's domestic wholesale volumes, utilizing the Kia Connect 2.0 system with ccNC technology. This achievement reflects the growing adoption of digital mobility solutions among Indian consumers.
