Nazara Technologies announced that its United Kingdom based subsidiary, Fusebox Games, has launched The Traitors: Interactive Game on iOS and Android platforms. This release expands the company's portfolio of licensed entertainment IP games, following previous successes with titles like Love Island and Big Brother.

Game mechanics and user experience

The new title invites players into the Traitors Castle to compete alongside 22 other participants in a choice driven narrative experience. Players select a defining trait at the start, such as the outspoken Leader, the adaptable Chameleon, or the chaotic Wildcard. These traits influence gameplay and social interactions within the game.

Key features include:

  • Daily Missions: Players complete tasks to earn Gold and immunity shields.
  • Round Table: Strategic voting sessions where players must build alliances and identify traitors.
  • Customization: Wardrobe curation serves as a tactical element to influence player perception.

Licensing and strategic context

The Traitors is a global phenomenon available in more than 40 territories. All3Media International, part of Banijay Entertainment, handles the licensing program for the format. Jason Easy, VP Licensing (Sales) at All3Media International, noted that the game allows fans to experience the tensions and betrayals of the format firsthand.

Terry Lee, CEO of Fusebox Games, emphasized the studio's expertise in adapting iconic entertainment IP into story based, choice driven games. He stated that the game gives fans the chance to step out of the audience and tell their own story at the castle.
