Omnitex Industries (India) Limited received a request from Ashok Metharam Bhawnani to reclassify his shareholding from promoter group category to public category. Bhawnani holds 925,380 equity shares representing 22.01% of the company's total equity share capital. He states he does not participate in company management, has no nominee director on the board, does not act as key managerial personnel, and has no special rights through formal or informal arrangements. The reclassification request requires approval from the Board of Directors, shareholders, and BSE Limited under SEBI regulations. Bhawnani confirms he does not hold more than ten percent of total voting rights and does not exercise control over company affairs.
Omnitex Industries (India) Limited announced several key leadership changes during a board meeting held on November 7, 2025. The company appointed Mr. Deepak Berry as Chief Financial Officer effective November 7, 2025. Berry holds an MBA in Finance from TASMC, Pune and brings over 48 years of experience. His previous roles include positions at Porritts and Spencer Asia Ltd (1977-1985), Birla Yamaha Ltd (1985-1988), Essar group Steel business as head of works account, Essar Port at Hazira as CFO (1988-2022), and CFO at Seros group of companies. Berry is not related to any directors of the company and is not debarred from holding the KMP office by any regulatory authority.
