The project contributes to NTPC Group's total installed capacity reaching 84,931 MW, strengthening its position in India's power generation sector.

NTPC Green Energy Limited incorporated Chhattisgarh NTPC Green Energy Limited on December 5, 2025, as a 74:26 joint venture with Chhattisgarh State Power Generation Company Limited. The new subsidiary will develop, operate and maintain renewable energy parks including solar, wind and hybrid projects up to 2GW capacity in Chhattisgarh state.
NTPC Green Energy Limited has appointed Beetal Financial Computer Services Private Limited as its new Registrar and Share Transfer Agent, replacing KFin Technologies Limited following completion of tenure. KFin Technologies will continue providing RTA services until electronic connectivity is shifted to Beetal and confirmations are received from both depositories.
