Vishal Mega Mart management has predicted that the company's gross margin will remain flat for FY26. This forecast was shared during a conference call update.
Vishal Mega Mart reported quarterly results showing revenue growth of 21% to ₹3,140.3 crore from ₹2,596.2 crore year-on-year. EBITDA increased 25.6% to ₹459 crore with margins expanding 60 basis points to 14.6% despite higher costs. Net profit surged 37.3% to ₹206 crore from ₹150 crore, supported by higher other income. Same store sales growth reached 10.5% year-on-year. The company operates 717 stores across 472 cities with a customer base of 151 million. Its Quick Commerce initiative spans 670 stores across 445 cities with 9.8 million registered users. Vishal Mega Mart will be included in the MSCI Standard Index, potentially attracting $258 million in inflows. Shares ended 3.5% higher at ₹144.85 and have nearly doubled from the IPO price of ₹78.

Vishal Mega Mart Limited's Board approved unaudited financial results for the quarter ended June 30, 2025. The company reported consolidated revenue from operations of Rs 25,478.94 million and profit after tax of Rs 2,060.73 million. On a standalone basis, revenue was Rs 16,679.39 million with profit after tax of Rs 1,766.12 million. Basic earnings per share stood at Rs 0.45 (consolidated) and Rs 0.38 (standalone). The Board also approved several auditor appointments: Chandrasekaran Associates as Secretarial Auditors for five years (from 7th to 12th AGM), Walker Chandiok & Co LLP's re-appointment as Statutory Auditors for four years (from 7th to 11th AGM), and Ernst & Young LLP's re-appointment as Internal Auditors for FY 2025-26. All auditor appointments are subject to shareholder approval at the upcoming Annual General Meeting.
