Vishal Mega Mart Limited allotted 19,34,880 equity shares of Rs. 10 face value each to eligible employees and subsidiary employees following exercise of stock options under the 2019 ESOP plan at exercise prices ranging from Rs. 10 to Rs. 65. The allotment increased the company's paid-up share capital from Rs. 46,71,06,79,260 to Rs. 46,73,00,28,060, with the new shares ranking equally with existing equity shares including dividend entitlement.
Kedaara Capital, promoter of Vishal Mega Mart, is open to selling an additional 13% stake in the company through a block deal at a discounted price. This potential stake sale would reduce Kedaara Capital's ownership in the retail chain and provide liquidity for the private equity firm.
