Aerpace Industries Signs MoU with Andhra Pradesh Government to Develop India's First Drone City6 days ago
Aerpace Industries Limited signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the Andhra Pradesh Economic Development Board to participate in developing India's First Drone City in the Kurnool region, proposing to establish a state-of-the-art drone manufacturing facility at Guttapadu. The partnership will accelerate development across Aerpace's defense ecosystem (aerShield) and transportation heavy-lift drones (aerWing), positioning the company at the center of India's emerging UAV ecosystem transformation.
Aerpace Industries Limited approved its standalone and consolidated unaudited financial results for the quarter and half year ended September 30, 2025. The company reported a net loss of Rs 85.8 lakhs for the quarter compared to a loss of Rs 74.8 lakhs in the previous year quarter. For the half year, the loss widened to Rs 331.57 lakhs from Rs 112.69 lakhs in the previous year. The Board decided to seek shareholder approval through postal ballot for appointing Mr. Prakash Gaur as Non-Executive Director and Ms. Darshana Avadhooot Sawant as Non-Executive Independent Director. The company also plans to amend its Employee Stock Option Plan and increase the ESOP pool from 70 lakh to 1.45 crore options. Additionally, the Board approved material related party transaction limits with Aerpace Robotics Private Limited for up to Rs 30 crores. During the quarter, the company availed a loan of Rs 7.72 crores from related party Aerpace Robotics Private Limited for capital expenditure requirements.
Aerpace Industries Limited's Board of Directors approved the appointment of two new directors on September 26, 2025. Mr. Prakash Gaur was appointed as a Non-Executive Director, bringing three decades of experience in economics and planning with specialization in urban development and public-private partnerships. He holds three Master's degrees and has worked with organizations including the World Bank Group, various state governments, and served as CEO of National Highway Logistics Management Limited until June 2025. Ms. Darshana Avadhoot Sawant was appointed as an Independent Director for a five-year term, bringing expertise in corporate compliance, statutory requirements, and corporate governance as a Company Secretary. Both appointments are subject to shareholder approval at the upcoming General Meeting or through Postal Ballot.
