Eraaya Lifespaces Reports ₹178 Million Loss in Q1 FY26 Amid Legal Challenges Over USD 40 Million FCCB Recovery16 hours ago
Eraaya Lifespaces Limited reported a standalone net loss of ₹178.02 million for the quarter ended June 30, 2025, compared to a profit of ₹9.55 million in the same quarter last year. Revenue from operations increased to ₹45.42 million from ₹16.47 million year-on-year. On a consolidated basis, the company posted a net loss of ₹235.43 million with revenue from operations reaching ₹6,092.80 million. The company faces ongoing legal proceedings regarding USD 40 million in unpaid Foreign Currency Convertible Bonds (FCCBs) from its USD 120 million issuance. The National Company Law Tribunal has issued an interim order directing the company to maintain status quo on all transactions related to the FCCB offering until final disposal of a shareholder petition. The company has initiated legal action in England and Wales for recovery of the outstanding USD 40 million, which is shown as receivable in the financials. Additionally, the Enforcement Directorate has imposed penalties of ₹329.07 million on a subsidiary and ₹35.20 million on its Principal Officer for alleged FEMA violations, though the company has filed appeals and believes these matters are covered under indemnities from previous promoters.
