Jaro Institute Receives GST Demand Order of INR 15.19 Lakh for FY 2021-22Nov 27, 2025
Jaro Institute of Technology Management and Research Limited received a GST assessment order from Tamil Nadu State Tax authorities demanding INR 15.19 lakh, comprising tax of INR 8.33 lakh, interest of INR 6.03 lakh, and penalty of INR 83,348 for financial year 2021-22. The company states there is no material impact on its operations and believes the demand is not feasible as per law, with plans to file an appeal before the due date.
Jaro Institute of Technology Management and Research Limited has reported zero utilization of its IPO proceeds during the quarter ended September 30, 2025. The company raised Rs 1,700 million through its IPO held from September 22-25, 2025. The monitoring agency report by Crisil Ratings shows that none of the allocated funds were used for the stated purposes: Rs 810 million for marketing and brand building activities, Rs 450 million for loan repayment, Rs 301.53 million for general corporate purposes, and Rs 138.47 million for issue expenses.
