Jindal Poly Films Approves Demerger of Nonwoven Business, Reports Strong Q1 ResultsAug 15, 2025
Jindal Poly Films Limited's board approved a scheme of arrangement to demerge its Nonwoven Fabrics Business division into Global Nonwovens Limited. The demerged division generated Rs. 671.23 crore turnover, representing 60% of the company's total revenue for the financial year ended March 31, 2025. Shareholders will receive 1 equity share of Global Nonwovens for every 4 shares held in Jindal Poly Films in a 4:1 ratio. The company reported strong quarterly results with standalone net profit of Rs. 926 crore for Q1 ended June 30, 2025, compared to Rs. 1,970 crore in the same quarter last year. Consolidated revenue from operations was Rs. 10,834 crore. The board also reappointed Gaurav Jain as internal auditor and appointed DMK Associates as secretarial auditor for five years. The demerger aims to unlock shareholder value through focused business approach and enhanced operational efficiency.
