SBEC Sugar Limited's Board approved quarterly results for the quarter ended June 30, 2025, showing a standalone loss of Rs. 2,338.35 lacs compared to a profit of Rs. 454.65 lacs in the previous year. The consolidated loss was Rs. 2,604.91 lacs versus a profit of Rs. 4,635.12 lacs previously. The company did not provision Rs. 1,263.31 lacs for interest on late cane dues payment for sugar season 2024-25. The Board approved the re-appointment of Mrs. Kumkum Modi as Non-Executive Director, appointed M/s. Soniya Gupta & Associates as Secretarial Auditors for five years, and re-appointed M/s M.K. Singhal & Co. as Cost Auditors for FY 2025-26. The High Court issued instructions to recover balance cane dues for crushing season 2024-25 within two months, and the Cane Commissioner issued a recovery certificate dated May 26, 2025.
