Premier Energies' board approved the acquisition of a 51% stake in Pune-based KSolare Energy for ₹86.7 crore, marking its entry into solar inverter manufacturing. KSolare will become a subsidiary of Premier Energies, while Syrma SGS Technologies will acquire the remaining 49% stake for ₹83.3 crore. KSolare manufactures on-grid, off-grid, and hybrid solar inverters with an annual production capacity of 500,000 inverters. The company reported revenue of ₹342 crore in fiscal 2025, compared to ₹226 crore in FY24 and ₹145 crore in FY23. The acquisition allows Premier Energies to expand into the residential solar inverter market. The cash transaction is expected to close within 90 days, with both companies jointly managing KSolare's business through equal board representation.
Premier Energies Ltd. will acquire a majority 51% stake in Hyderabad-based Transcon Ind Ltd. for Rs 500 crore. Transcon Ind manufactures and sells various types of transformers. The acquisition allows Premier Energies to diversify into power transformer manufacturing and establish presence in this segment as part of becoming a full-spectrum energy solutions provider. The company expects operational and market synergies with its existing solar module manufacturing business, enabling integrated energy solutions and cross-selling opportunities. No government or regulatory approval is required, and the deal will complete within 90 days subject to preconditions. Premier Energies is India's second largest fully integrated solar cell and solar module manufacturer. The company will announce quarterly earnings on Oct. 28. Shares closed 0.9% higher at Rs 1,069 following the announcement, though the stock has declined 20% over the past 12 months while gaining 7% year-to-date.
Premier Energies Secures $19.95 Million Solar Contract in West Africa Despite Share Decline

Sep 29, 2025Premier Energies Ltd. won orders worth $19.95 million to supply and install solar power systems in the Republic of Benin. The project includes installing 750 rooftop solar systems at police stations, educational institutions, health centers and border surveillance units, along with over 4,400 solar streetlights and 650 solar water heaters. The initiative supports Benin's national goal to expand access to clean energy. Premier Energies will work with the General Directorate of Energy Planning and Rural Electrification under the Ministry of Energy, Water and Mines. The project will be financed through credit lines from India's EXIM Bank and ECOWAS Bank for Investment and Development. Despite the contract win, shares declined over 1% from opening price to trade at ₹1014.65. Managing Director Chiranjeev Saluja called the contract a strong endorsement of the company's operational capability and global competitiveness.
