The expansion targets sectors collectively projected to surpass USD 6 trillion in market value by 2030. The global AI market is projected to exceed USD 1.8 trillion by 2030 from USD 196 billion in 2023, while the blockchain market is forecasted to surge from USD 19 billion in 2023 to over USD 1.4 trillion by 2030. The GCC industry in India is expected to cross USD 110 billion by 2030. Managing Director Puneet Singh described the convergence of AI, blockchain, and global delivery platforms as a once-in-a-generation opportunity. Colab Platforms is a diversified technology, sports and digital ventures company focused on building integrated ecosystems spanning esports, physical sports infrastructure, sporting events, influencer collaborations, and digital content delivery.

Colab Platforms Limited signed a non-binding Memorandum of Understanding with RRP Drones Innovation Private Limited to collaborate on designing, developing, and deploying AI-powered aerial surveillance drones for agriculture, industrial sites, law enforcement, and defense sectors. The partnership aims to establish a Special Purpose Vehicle (SPV) for development, manufacturing, and deployment of autonomous drones with applications spanning border security surveillance, industrial sites, law enforcement, agriculture, and environment protection. This marks Colab's entry into aerospace and drone technology, expanding from its existing digital, sports, fintech and esports platforms. The global commercial drone market is expected to reach $55-90 billion by 2030, while India's drone sector is estimated to reach ₹1.95 lakh crore by 2030. The collaboration is supported by government incentives including PLI schemes and the Kisan Drone subsidy program.

Colab Platforms Limited signed a non-binding term sheet to acquire a majority 51% stake in Indiaoneonline Synergies Limited, a digital platforms and technology services company. The board approved this decision on September 6th, 2025. The acquisition aims to position Colab in India's digital economy sector, which is projected to surpass $1 trillion by 2030 and contribute nearly 20% of national GDP by FY 2029-30. Managing Director Puneet Singh described the agreement as a transformational leap that will combine Colab's scale and market access with IndiaOne's product innovation. Post-acquisition priorities include accelerated product scaling in e-commerce enablement tools, geographic expansion across Indian states and international markets, forming partnerships with fintechs and enterprise clients, and driving capital efficiency. Colab operates across sports, esports, and digital platforms verticals, having evolved from its technology roots to a multi-vertical enterprise.
