Drone Acharya Aerial Innovations Secures INR 7.12 Crore Order from Indian Army for FPV Drones

2 days agoDrone Acharya Aerial Innovations Limited has received work orders worth INR 7.12 crores from the Indian Army for the supply of First Person View (FPV) Drones. The company was the only one to successfully qualify in rigorous technical and field trials conducted by the Indian Army under challenging operational conditions. Their FPV Digital and FPV Analogue drone platforms were the sole systems that met all evaluation parameters and mission-specific customization requirements. Following superior performance, the Indian Army amended the initial order by placing an additional 25% quantity under both categories. The FPV drones are designed for long-range operations with secure real-time video transmission, precision payload delivery, and dual safety mechanisms. Delivery of all FPV drones is scheduled to be completed within 4 months. The order is expected to contribute positively to the company's growth trajectory and strengthen its order book.
KPRK & Associates LLP has resigned as the statutory auditor of DroneAcharya Aerial Innovations Limited, effective October 20, 2025. The chartered accounting firm cited pre-occupation and other professional commitments as the reason for resignation. DroneAcharya's Director and CFO Nikita Srivastava communicated this development to BSE Limited, providing the required disclosures under SEBI regulations. The company has submitted the auditor's resignation letter along with requisite details to the stock exchange.
DroneAcharya Aerial Innovations Limited received a work order from the Indian Army for supplying 500 Sub Tactical Very Short Range Drones valued at INR 2.59 crore. The contract was awarded on October 18, 2025, with deliveries scheduled in three phases: 166 units by April 16, 2026, 167 units by July 15, 2026, and 167 units by October 18, 2026. The company stated this order strengthens its position in the defense and security segment and validates its technological capabilities in FPV drone manufacturing.
