Century Enka Limited reported operating revenue of INR 409 crores in Q2 FY26, declining 24% year-on-year but increasing 2% quarter-on-quarter. EBITDA stood at INR 32 crores with margins at 7.73%, while profit after tax was INR 22 crores, up 4% year-on-year. The company faced challenges from subdued demand and increased low-cost imports from China in both tyre cord fabrics and filament yarn segments. Caprolactam prices continued to decline to record lows, though the pace of decline has reduced. The company has two manufacturing facilities in Pune and Bharuch with capacity of 92,000 MTPA and maintains a net surplus cash position.
Century Enka reported quarterly results showing EBITDA of 316 million rupees compared to 379 million rupees in the same period last year. The company's EBITDA margin improved to 7.74% from 7.07% year-over-year. Net profit increased to 226 million rupees from 216 million rupees in the previous year.
