Rapid Multimodal Logistics Reports Half-Year Financial Results for September 2025Nov 14, 2025
Rapid Multimodal Logistics Limited's Board approved unaudited financial results for the half-year ended September 30, 2025, showing profit after tax of Rs. 47.33 lakhs compared to Rs. 226.40 lakhs in the previous period. The Chennai-based logistics company, engaged in goods transportation services, reported total income from operations of Rs. 5,709.54 lakhs with total equity of Rs. 1,469.85 lakhs as of September 30, 2025.
Mobility unicorn Rapido has announced partnerships with Goibibo, redBus, and ConfirmTkt to integrate their services into its application. The integration includes hotel and flight bookings through Goibibo, inter-city bus bookings via redBus, and train bookings through ConfirmTkt. Rapido aims to transform into a one-stop travel application for its five-crore active users across more than 400 cities. The company targets onboarding up to 10 crore digital travel users by combining daily mobility and travel booking services. A new 'travel' section has been added to the app's home screen. Co-Founder Aravind Sanka emphasized the company's focus on simplifying travel and making it economically accessible, particularly for users in Tier 2 and Tier 3 cities. ConfirmTkt and ixigo Trains CEO Dinesh Kumar Kotha highlighted the partnership's potential to make train travel more seamless and accessible for millions of new users.
The Central Consumer Protection Authority fined bike aggregator platform Rapido's parent entity Roppen Transportation Services Rs 10 lakh for misleading advertisements. The regulator found that Rapido's claims of 'Guaranteed Auto' and 'Auto in 5 min or get Rs 50' constituted misleading advertisements and unfair trade practices. The Rs 50 benefit was paid as in-app tokens valid for only seven days and redeemable only for bike rides, conditions that were not disclosed in advertisements. These misleading ads ran for 548 days across over 120 cities in multiple languages. Consumer complaints against Rapido increased from 575 between April 2023-May 2024 to 1,224 between June 2024-July 2025, with half remaining unaddressed. Most complaints involved overcharging and non-refunds. CCPA ordered Rapido to discontinue the misleading advertisements immediately, reimburse affected consumers, and submit a compliance report within 15 days.
