Supreme Industries Reports 6% Volume Growth But 26% Profit Decline in Q1, Raises FY26 Volume Guidance to 15-17%Today
Supreme Industries reported mixed quarterly results with plastic goods sales volume growing 6% to 183,793 tons, while net product turnover declined 1% to Rs. 2,579 crores. Consolidated profit after tax dropped 26% to Rs. 202 crores due to inventory losses from falling polymer prices and early monsoon impact on agricultural piping business. The company completed acquisition of Wavin Industries for Rs. 310 crores and entered technology licensing agreement with Wavin B.V. Netherlands. Management revised volume growth guidance upward to 15-17% for plastic piping division and 14-15% overall, citing improved demand outlook and Wavin integration. The company expects EBITDA margins of 14.5-15.5% for the full year and plans Rs. 1,350 crores capital expenditure to expand plastic piping capacity to 1 million tons by March 2026. Value-added products contributed Rs. 933 crores in revenue.

Supreme Industries Reports 26% Decline in Net Profit for Quarter Ended June 20254 days ago
Supreme Industries Ltd reported consolidated net profit after tax of Rs. 202.30 crores for the quarter ended June 30, 2025, down from Rs. 273.37 crores in the same quarter last year. Total income decreased marginally to Rs. 2,626.13 crores compared to Rs. 2,657.79 crores in the previous year quarter. Earnings per share fell to Rs. 15.93 from Rs. 21.52. The company has entered into Business Transfer Agreements with Wavin Industries Limited and its subsidiaries for an aggregate consideration of approximately Rs. 310 crores, expected to complete by July 31, 2025. Supreme Industries also signed a Master Technology License Agreement with Wavin B.V. Netherlands for exclusive access to plastic piping technologies in India and SAARC countries for 7 years, effective from August 1, 2025.
