Sona BLW Precision Forgings has sent a cease and desist letter to Rani Kapur, accusing her of defaming the company and causing reputational and financial harm. Kapur, mother of late industrialist Sunjay Kapur who passed away on June 12, had earlier sought postponement of the company's July 25 annual general meeting. She alleged coercion, misuse of documents, and unauthorized director appointments, claiming to be the majority shareholder through her late husband's will. Sona BLW rejected these allegations and proceeded with the AGM as scheduled.
